As it turns out the "hole" was just a missing inspection panel, which the plane was allowed to fly without. Passengers who fled were reimbursed for their tickets, but had to pay a fee because the airline did not deem the incident an emergency.

Το αεροδρόμιο του Duxford στη Βρετανία, όπως κάθε χρόνο έτσι και φέτος φιλοξενεί τη «συνάντηση των θρύλων». Πρόκειται για τη μεγαλύτερη συγκέντρωση μαχητικών του Β΄ΠΠ αλλά και του Α΄ΠΠ από όσα από τα αεροσκάφη διασώζονται σήμερα και βρίσκονται σε πτήσιμη κατάσταση.

Το αεροπορικό αυτό show πραγματοποιείται φέτος μεταξύ 30 Ιουνίου και 1ης Ιουλίου και σε αυτή πρόκειται να συμμετάσχουν αεροσκάφη θρύλοι όπως το Spitfire, το Mustang P-51, ενώ το παρών θα δώσει τουλάχιστον έμνα Me-109 με κινητήρα Merlin. Πώς προσγειώνεται αυτό το πράγμα όταν έχει πλάγιο άνεμο;;;
Χτίζουν άλλο διάδρομο; Γιατί κλίση να βάλει πριν την επαφή, δεν παίζει με τίποτα...
