Dear Sir/Madam
I am writing regarding flight FR1210 on 7/10/2016 from Paphos-PFO to Athens-ATH with the scheduled departure time of 15:20.
My booking reference is . This flight departed at 21:10 and arrived around 6 hours late at ATH,Athens airport.
In response to your previous contact over the form from your website, reference number , I received this exact statement(attached file) from an unnamed spokeperson from your Customer Service Department.
I believe that weather conditions to any country within Europe, excluding Cyprus and Greece which the delyed route includes, can't cause a 6 hour delay to the said flight. My scheduled flight length was less than 1500km so the total compensation sought is 250€.
The judgment of the Court of Justice of the European Union in Tui & others v CAA confirmed the applicability of compensation for delay as set out in the Sturgeon case. As such, I am seeking compensation under EC Regulation 261/2004 for this delayed flight.
I am urging you to provide detailed documentation of reasons that caused the delay on flight FR1210 and actions taken to avoid the 6 hour delay.Inability to provide such documents and not providing a response within 15 working days will force me to seek legal actions.
Yours Sincerely,
