Για να φεύγει ο Συμιγδαλάς υπάρχει σίγουρα διαφωνία για κάτι.... Δε μπορεί να σταματάει την καριέρα του στην Ελλάδα....
Στην A3 τον ειχαν στο ψυγειο τοσα χρονια. Τωρα τον βαζουν και εκει! Τα ERA βραβεια ειχαν αναγκη? Και που τον εφεραν στην ΟΑ να κανει τι? Τις ιδιες αν οχι χειροτερες επιλογες? Εχουν αναδειχθει μονοι τους τοσα χρονια σε μανατζερ κορυφης και το κακο ειναι οτι στην Ελλαδα τους περνανε για αυθεντιες.. Ας παει λοιπον στο καλο για να μην πω και παραπερα.. Το μαγαζι χρειαζεται πολυ πιο ικανους απο τον καθε κ.Σιμυγδαλα.. Ακομα και η αναβαθμιση του Πασχαλη ειναι αξια απορiας.. Πως σκεφτονται? Την καταντια της τεχνικης βασης δεν την ειδανε? Eχει την μεγαλυτερη ευθυνη. Τον κανανε και CEO...

Dear Friends and Colleagues,
As you may have heard, in order to facilitate our company’s needs and further moves, there is a new Board of Directors, with Mr. John Karakadas as the new Chairman while the new CEO of Olympic Air is Mr. Thanos Pascalis. I shall remain on board as special advisor to the Board and the Management and will continue to offer my services to the Olympic Air Group while obtaining some additional time for my other, more academic activities and interests in and out of Greece.
I wish to welcome Mr. John Karakadas who is a professional of international acclaim in top managerial positions and a good friend from within the Marfin Group, who as CEO of Singular Logic SA, has helped and supported the project of Olympic Air in many ways since its inception.
I am especially pleased and proud to hand over all controls of Olympic Air to Thanos Pascalis, my long time friend, right hand and COO, as well as a valued colleague for the past 12 years in all my aviation and air transport endeavours during that time. None of us would have made it to where we are today if Thanos Pascalis was not with us. For that he has my deepest admiration, respect and gratitude.
I want to wish to both the new Chairman and the new CEO, as well as to the new Board of Directors every success in their new tasks and would like to ask each and everyone of you, to embrace the new management and our airline, Olympic Air as always, but with renewed enthusiasm and effort in order to ensure every success in the future.
I also wish to thank the outgoing Board of Directors and especially the Chairman Mr. Andreas Vgenopoulos for his confidence in all of us as well as for his audacity and courage to enter a very difficult sector of industry and give new hope to the Air Transport industry of Greece. I also wish to thank the Deputy Chairman, Mr. Nick Simigdalas, without who’s inspiration, persistence and wisdom for the past 50 years, the Greek Air Transport Industry as we know it would not be in existence today.
Finally and most importantly, I would like to say to each and everyone of you, wherever you may be within our network, in the air or on the ground, a very warm and sincere “thank you” for everything that you have accomplished and I a sure, will continue to do in the future. I am proud to have been one of the team that started Olympic Air and will always have a special place in my heart for all of you.
