Re: Ultimate Air Academy!!!! (USA Training)
Dear airliners.gr members and aviation friends,
My name is Christos E. Flagkakis and I am writting this post as a reply to the numerous posts in regards of Ultimate Air Academy, the luck of the school and the question of the founder's medical certificate that you may have.
Ultimate Air Academy is an approved by the FAA flight school that operates under the CFR title 14 of the Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Part 61. Until today we have had the opportunity to train several successful pilots that work for the airline industry including but not limited to Olympic air pilots, some of whom were previous F16 fighting pilots for the Hellenic Airforce. As a matter of fact, I personally trained a couple of them and successfuly helped them achieve their Airline Transport Pilot License (ATP). Until today, the flight school is still in business as it has always been after it was founded back in 2009 and you can get the latest information, including flight training programs, visas and so on by visiting http://www.ultimate.aero. Ultimate Air Academy does not issue I20 documents that are required for applying for a student's visa today. We are in process of achieving that privilege but it usually takes from 6 months to 5 years depending the workload and application order that the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)/SEVIS experiences. Stay tuned on http://www.ultimate.aero for updates in any matter regarding the school.
In 2009, Ultimate Air Academy had 7 airplanes on the fleet and business was doing great so I personally came across Mr. ****** outside of a Walmart store. He asked me if I need any more employees because he graduated from Phoenix East Aviation and he was promised that he would have a job as a flight instructor upon the completion of his program which never happened. John is a legal citizen of the United States of America and at this moment in the U.S. all companies and flight schools are hiring but after multiple application attempts John made, he had no luck whatsoever. He failed all the check-out flights at any flight school around the Daytona Beach area and I know that because he personaly told me. So I felt sorry about his situation and I decided to help him get better and hire him. I could not process his check out because he for whatever reason could not even land a plane and I was wondering how he got that far with his licenses if his flying skills and knowledge level was so low. I sat down and talked about everything with him and we discussed the possibility of me retraining him so he gets better. In less than two weeks I got him to a level where he could finally instruct, spending the company's funds on gas and aircraft expences as well as personal time I did not have as a flight school owner trying to help him. After I was ready to put him on duty, I asked him how much of money in dollars he wanted to be compensated for his work. He replied immediately that he wanted no money whatsoever but flight time. At this point I felt even worse about him and I offered him $1200 per month no matter if he flies or not because I wasn't sure if I could use him for all the available students since his flying performance was weak and I did not want to risk anybody's life. I offered him to do some office work and other things as well so he stays in touch and be around aviation until he gets better. Even though I trained him, he could not reach the performance of the average flight instructor. Anyways, I adviced him that I do not like gossiping or any other way of talking or interaction between students and employees at all, meaning that I do not like (kotsompolia) at Ultimate. Everything should be limited to a professional and friendly environment so we can complete someone's training with no problems. I caught him several times interacting with students, being friend with them, hugging each other and I was told he would go out to strip clubs with them too. After I asked him if all that was true, he actually admited that he even went to strip clubs with Ultimate's students. At that point I decided to interupt Ultimate's relationship with John since everything he was doing was inappropriate and unprofessional damaging the academy's reputation. When I announced to him that this is the end of our relationship, he was upset and very angry with me.. So the end of the story is that he filled a false report to the FAA that I was a user of drugs and I had to go through examination that included blood and hair examination as well as psychological examination. The results were all clear of course since I do not even smoke, I do not go to clubs like normal people do here and there and I do nothing else but studying, teaching, working and raising my children. I had the opportunity to take a copy of the report that he filled to the FAA and I really do not mind publishing it so you all can get a better and more clear picture of the situation.
Finally, I would like to thank you all for reading this and ask the very few users of this forum referring to my name and Ultimate Air Academy to do that with less sarcasm and have more respect. I do not have the time to go over web-forums and gossip nor get involve with other people's business. The amount of energy you spend to write posts or try to challenge someone you don't know trying to make yourself look smart, you can actually invest that energy studying to get your pilot's licenses. At the end of the day, not even turkish people try to harm each other in a nasty and untruthful way.
Today, I am a flight instructor CFI/CFII/MEI with almost 2000 flight hours, ATP written, high altitude endorsement and other endorsements and I fly every day. Please I am asking you to go on the FAA.GOV web site under Airmen Certification section and click where it sais "search airmen certification" use my name, Christos Flagkakis and show me where it says that I do not have a medical certificate or ever had any problems with it. When a report occurs, the FAA is responsible to investigate but that does not mean that they will suspend or revoke your medical certificate. If you all have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at any time at c.flagkakis@ultimate.aero or c.flagkakais@live.com.
Once again, thank you so much for your time and consideration and wish you to have a pleasant day.
I am here to help the ones that need it
